Coarse Assorted Vegetable Tapenade)
In Italy this is the classic condiment for a Toast Farcito - or Stuffed Toast. The traditional recipe calls for two slices of white bread, a couple of slices of cooked ham, and fontina cheese. You then toast it in a griddle and, once the bread browns and the cheese is melted, you open it up and layer the Vegetable Tapenade, that we call Farcitura. Try it n a toasted slice of baguette or add it to your cold rice salad for a scrumptious summer lunch.
